Many of us learned the story of Rahab in Sunday Schoool, but parts of it were often glossed over. Rahab is a woman who finds herself on the margins, both physically and socially. Including her in this geneology begins to set the stage for us to notice Jesus going out of his way to include those on the margins. We begin to ponder where we find oursleves and how we relate to the margins.
